Goodbye Budapest.

We had quite an array of activities here in Budapest and today was apart of it. We went in a river tour of the Danube.

Breakfast wise we decided to pick something up at the Central Market. Very hardy meals for me and Lisa, sausage for her and a chicken pasta wrap thing for me.

Then we hopped over to the Gellert baths to try and get a reservation for two pedicures and a foot massage. Well I will say it here, they weren't bad but they weren't what we were expecting, it's kind of a trend, Europe just does things differently than US. Oh we also popped over to the cave Citadel across the street from Gellert.

Then it was off to our river tour which was very relaxing, informative, and overall a great experience.
Buda Castle
Parlament Building Again
Gellert Hill: we climbed to the top where that statue is :)

Now we have just been sitting at Cafe Alibi again, ate our midday lunch and just people watching until we need to leave for our flight. We won't be getting into London until late tonight so I will be posting now and then back again tomorrow.

  1. It's hard to think that your so close to the end of a most wonderful trip... with so many things that you'll talk about for a long time to come besides all those great pictures.... I'm sure there are so many more pictures that we haven't seen as yet... looking forward to that.

Wow... now how do I make better breakfast... the breakfast in this section of the blog are awesome... how do you not want to take a slight kick back moment or hour to enjoy.

The dome is just awesome... and the castle in the mountain side... some place I'd move to... that one place looks just like the winery on 12 in sonoma.

By the time you review this you all will be in London... and enjoying the last few hours of your great trip... So where's the next trip to!
Hey... have a great evening... chat later.

  2. The river cruise looks and sounds wonderful! Again, great pics! The architecture in Budapest looks like a neat mixture of Western and Eastern European with a lil Middle Eastern thrown in there too.

Hmm, now I'm curious to hear how your pedicures went!
