Sorry this blog is late, I ended up falling asleep last night without finishing.
Good adventures only to speak of today!
First stop the central market hall, talk about ultimate farmers market. Lots of produce and meat, tons of souvenirs and food to eat. We wander the hall for about a half hour and decided we would have to return tomorrow for our first meal (oh technically our first stop was breakfast down a street that has mostly eateries on it, odd thing is around 10a not many of them were open yet and they were suppose to be serving breakfast, go figure).
Breakfast Market
Second stop the Pal-volgyi Cave! Our tour was for 50m, since our tour guide only spoke Hungarian they gave us a pamphlet with the general English translation of each place we were to visit. It was super neat! Very cold and damp, awesome stalagmites/stalactites and an overall feel of wonder (get it, cave of wonder).
Stop three the Parliament building turned out to be a quick one. It was very impressive, but we couldn't get very close to it, luckily we will get to see the other side of it when we are on our Danube river tour tomorrow.
Back to the hostel for a siesta. Got some food at the market, sat for a bit, cleaned up and were ready for our next stop.
Gellert baths! There we enjoyed the large outdoor pool, our individual massages that we reserved, and the thermal healing baths. Very relaxing, very enjoyable! Unfortunately our pictures aren't that great because we didn't take them until late around 8p closing time, but the place does look like it's pictures if you google it.
Last stop was our trip to a restaurant that we tried the first night, I read reviews that it was good so earlier in the day I had made reservations for 9p. It was a nice sit down place, less traditional food choices than I originally believed but great food none the less. Our dishes were: leg of duck for Becca, Fried cheese and salad for Lisa, and Hungarian Goulash w/Gnocchi for me.

Great buildings, just wonderful to see buildings that you know have so much history behind them. Again, your food plates look great

The caves are so neat... hope you've got more pictures to show on the caves. And the bath house wow... so cool... did everyone enjoy the experience. Something like that would help relax the body so much... with those long days too.
