Pretty Praha.

Last journey through Praha (Prague) had us traveling to see Vysehrad Castle, a small little castle on beautiful grounds, with a gorgeous cathedral and cemetery. This is also where we found a playground/outdoor gym and took a fun turn on the equipment. Not to mention that anywhere you stood on the riverside there provided for a wonderful picture.
Sooo, this pic is our unhappy faces for the ticket we got for not getting a tram ticket, it was an expensive ride...

Next we got on another tram, this time with a ticket (not that they make it easy to purchase one, all day we came against the issue of no ticket machine at each place we were). Anywho, I really wanted to stop at this building that is quite modern in architecture but overall a great site to see. "Dancing House". Of course before we went we made a quick stop at a market, our other favorite touristy place to go.

Off to Petrin hill to see the city from the highest point, first thing we had to do was ride the Fanicular, a tram that took a path up the hill, quite fun, it reminded me of Disneyland.

At the top, boy was it a pretty site. It only got better when we climbed the long stairway up the mini Eiffel to gain real appreciation for the view.

Our final exploration for the day was Prague Castle and the surrounding grounds.
Off to find tradition foods...Eureka! Both potatoe pancakes and dumplings (discs on plate)
Oh does anyone know what this fruit is, Lisa tried it and couldn't tell (the mint is just for show)

PS. This morning the thing that made me happiest, apparently, was an Odie look a like, minus the "grumpiness."

  1. Well this is the 4th time entering... comments...
so this will be short for now... cause I'm a little pissed on losing the other entries. Mom said that yes she did see the stack of dolls on the wall.

No not to worry... T only took a toe on the left foot... no problem she will save on nail polish...

Love the buildings... the history behind them wow... can't believe that they are still standing.

Will add more tomorrow... still upset over losing comments...

  2. The Vysehrad Castle looks like something out of a fairy tale! Gorrrgeous!~ Looks like Prague has a amazing range of architecture.

The picture of the three of you (smiling faces) is uber adorable :)

Mmm, that mystery fruit looks a little like a plum to me. The food picture make me hungry! >_<
